Soutos da Vila is dedicated to the production and marketing of fruits.
Situated in Sernancelhe (a few kilometres from Viseu), the village is known for the high quality of its chestnuts and its location at high altitude also allows the cultivation of other fruits with unique characteristics, like strawberries during the summer months.
Our main fruits are chestnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, strawberries, cherries and blueberries.
With about 200 hectares planted, we are completing, in our production, the implementation of the certification GLOBAL GAP.
To enable the consumer to feel the real taste of our products, enjoying the best quality, flavour and freshness, with all the confidence, the marketing of our fruits is prepared in modern facilities, equipped with modern calibration equipment, sterilization (of the chestnuts), choice, packing and cold storage (also during the transport) and has implemented the system of food safety management according to NP EN ISO 22000.
